We see the character sat by a fire, listening to something through headphones. A voiceover will play explaining some background while the character is followed preparing for a journey and looking out over a field.
The camera will cut between views of the environment and views of the character from medium and close shots. The intro will end as the character starts walking down a track, the camera will pan up and reveal an abandoned village with an ominous tower in the distance (Digitally inserted into the shot.) then fade to black.
This introduction should be fairy easy to film if I use a few tricks to make it easier. Night scenes can be filmed in my own back garden, the dark obscuring anything that will give away the location and the day shots can be filmed in close by and rarely used footpaths in nearby woods and fields.
The effects I want to include in my intro should be fairly easy to implement, the appearance of the title can be done using some cutting tricks in editing and the voice over simply requires a decent microphone to record some audio that can be overlaid on the video track. The final effect I want to make, the tower, will probably take up most of my time but should not be too challenging or time consuming should I be able to find the right image and film the shot right to make editing it easier.
Another benefit is the cast and crew size required for my intro, at a maximum I should only need 2 or 3 people to operate the camera, record audio, etc.
However, what will go wrong, usual does and I should be prepared for anything.
