For my introduction I have chosen to produce a Science Fiction piece. This is mostly due to my interest in the subject and the results I received from my questionnaire, but also because recording such an intro is far easier than other genres.
Science fiction allows me to suspend disbelief and create any kind of story imaginable and while it is usually expected to contain special effects due to what is classically considered 'Science Fiction', it is more common for there to be minimal practical effects or non at all. This is especially relevant with my intro as to produce realistic effects would take too much time and be too expensive for me to use, instead I can use low budget effects or clever camera work.
Rather than having a set structure or a long list of clichés, science fiction is rather open ended in it's possibilities due to the scope of topics it can include, from aliens and spaceships, to alternate history, to political commentary.
